Privacy Policy for The AgeMeter
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Centers For Age Control Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides The AgeMeter mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use The AgeMeter or contact us.
Information we collect
Account and profile information may include your name, email address, password in protected form, birth date or chronological age, sex or gender, height, weight, and internal account or session identifiers.
Test and result information may include biomarker measurements, functional or biological age results, percentiles, equivalent ages, and results history.
Subscription information may include Apple subscription status, product and entitlement information, and internal or Apple transaction identifiers needed to verify, restore, renew, or revoke access. Apple processes the purchase itself; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
Technical information may include app usage events, device and app information, diagnostic data, crash reports, performance information, IP address and server logs. The AgeMeter uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app operation and diagnose problems. We do not use your email address as a Firebase Analytics user ID.
Support communications may include information you choose to provide when contacting us.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide login, subscription entitlement, restore-purchase, biomarker testing, scoring, results, history, and account-deletion features; operate and improve the app; prevent fraud and misuse; diagnose errors; provide support; comply with law; and resolve disputes.
Storage and processing
Account, profile, subscription-entitlement, biomarker, and results information is transmitted to and processed by systems used to operate The AgeMeter. Firebase may process analytics and crash information on our behalf. Apple processes App Store subscription transactions under Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as Apple, hosting and database providers, and Firebase, or when required for security, legal compliance, or protection of rights. We do not sell personal data. The AgeMeter does not display advertising and does not use personal data for cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate your account and the app, meet legal obligations, maintain security, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. You may request account deletion through the app. Deletion removes or de-identifies active account data as applicable, but limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, transaction or audit records, or where retention is legally required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
The AgeMeter is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
Scientific and informational use
The AgeMeter provides scientific and informational functional-age measurements. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, monitor a disease, or provide individualized medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Your choices and contact
You may review or update profile information in the app, restore eligible Apple purchases, delete your account, or contact us with privacy questions at support@agemeter.com.
